VIDEO: Passenger Train Derails in Pakistan, 20 Dead, 80 Injured

A passenger train in southern Pakistan has derailed, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 people and injuring 80 others with varying degrees of severity. This has been reported by the Geo News television channel.

The incident occurred when approximately 10 carriages of the passenger train went off the tracks near a city in the southern Sindh province, about 275 kilometers from the country’s largest city, Karachi.

Footage of the aftermath of the derailment has circulated on social media, showing rescuers assisting the injured in getting out of the damaged carriages. Emergency responders are also present at the scene. Nearby hospitals have declared a state of emergency.
