Musk Promises to Cover Costs for Victims of Unfair Treatment Due to Twitter Likes
American entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced that his X social media platform (formerly Twitter) is prepared to cover costs for those unfairly affected by legal actions taken by their employers over posts or likes on the platform.
“If your employer has acted unfairly against you because you posted or liked something on this platform, we will pay your legal claim. No limits,” Musk wrote on the X social media platform.
It is worth noting that Twitter Inc. was founded in 2006. Musk finally completed a $44 billion acquisition deal in the fall of 2022. In July, a rebranding was undertaken, and the social network's logo was changed to X. Musk had previously stated that the social network's branding would reach its final form.
In November, Elon Musk announced that he would restore banned accounts on the social network after a majority of poll participants supported the “amnesty” for the pages. Previous polls had also led to the reopening of former U.S. President Donald Trump's page.
