Zakharova Comments on the Abduction of Vagif Khachaturyan

The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has addressed the abduction of Vagif Khachaturyan by Azerbaijanis at the Lachin checkpoint. According to Zakharova, this incident complicates the process of resolution.

"We are receiving entirely contradictory comments about the incident from both sides. Moreover, we start from the premise that the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the protection of the rights of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh are essential," she stated.
