The Metal Casting Factory in Yeraskh Will Not Be Relocated
Rumors circulated this morning in the media suggesting that the metal casting factory being constructed in Yeraskh is set to be relocated to a different, safer location. According to media reports, the most likely new site is near the city of Ararat.
To clarify this information, 'Haykakan Zhamanak' contacted Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan, the owner of the American 'Virtual Funding' company and chairman of the board of directors of 'JTBI Holdings'. He stated that these reports do not correspond to reality.
It is worth reminding that a Armenian-American factory is being built in Yeraskh (Ararat province), with an investment plan totaling $70 million. Earlier, Azerbaijani environmental NGOs issued a joint statement expressing their objections to the construction of the factory.
