Import of Buffalo, Poultry, and Pork Meat Banned in Armenia: ASHM
In July, as a result of border control by the Food Safety Inspection Body (ASHM), the import of the following food products into Armenia was banned based on laboratory non-compliance:
- Buffalo meat from India: 51,480 kg, with pathogenic bacteria, including salmonella.
- Poultry from Denmark: 26,744 kg, with a listeria (Listeria monocytogenes) indicator.
- Poultry from Ukraine: 6,565 kg, with pathogenic bacteria, including salmonella.
- Pork from Brazil: 62,072.43 kg, of which 36,580 kg indicated pathogenic bacteria, including salmonella, and 25,492.43 kg with a listeria (Listeria monocytogenes) indicator.
