Russian Forces Advance in Luhansk

The Russian armed forces have reported an advance in the Luhansk region. This was announced today by Igor Konashenkov, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the General, the assault units of the Russian army's "Center" grouping operating in Ukraine have been able to penetrate approximately three kilometers toward the enemy positions along a front of about 12 kilometers near the settlement of Sergeyivka since July 23.

Konashenkov also asserted that Russian troops have advanced in the Kupiansk direction, occupying "more advantageous positions near the settlement of Kuzemivka."
