If Yerevan Really Recognizes Azerbaijan's Territorial Integrity, It Should Not Hinder Reintegration: Azimov
If Yerevan really recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, it should not hinder the reintegration process. This statement was made today by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov during a meeting with accredited ambassadors in Baku.
“If the Armenian side indeed recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, it should not object to the transportation of goods via the Aghdam-Khankendi (Stepanakert) road and should not impede the reintegration process,” he said, noting that “the responsibility of the international community is very important in this regard.”
“Before reacting to Armenian side's manipulations and making statements, one should think about the purposes they serve. It is also necessary to exclude any actions that contradict Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This includes the use of incorrect terminology,” the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan stated.
