Artsakh Will Never Be Part of Azerbaijan, Former Prosecutor General

I want the people of Artsakh to see the clear support from the Republic of Armenia, so that they know they are not alone. This was stated today by the former Prosecutor General of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, during a conversation with journalists while participating in a protest supporting Artsakh.

“I do not believe that the current situation is the result of a single day or a single action or inaction. There are many reasons we can discuss,” said Davtyan when asked about the situation surrounding Artsakh. According to him, the issue should not be about analyzing the causes or making critical statements.

“Today, we simply need to stand and express our clear national position. Position 1: The population living in Armenia and Artsakh is one nation, and we will stand together in all matters. And Position 2: The Republic of Artsakh and its people will never be part of Azerbaijan,” he emphasized.
