One Span of the Crimean Bridge Destroyed: It Cannot Be Restored, Says Khusnullin
Traffic on the Crimean Bridge is set to proceed in a one-lane alternating mode during night hours. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
"Unless unforeseen circumstances arise, we will start the transition of vehicles in a one-lane mode during the night," he said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Khusnullin added that by 1 a.m., authorities will have a complete picture of the situation.
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported that one section of the roadway on the Crimean Bridge has been destroyed due to terrorism and cannot be restored. However, he noted that the bridge's supports were not damaged in the attack.
