The ‘Zangezur Corridor’ Will Not Be Created, Says Syunik Governor
The term ‘Zangezur Corridor’ is neither present in negotiations nor in any documents. This was stated today by the Governor of Syunik, Robert Ghukasyan, to reporters.
“Official Yerevan rules it out, and I do the same. I believe, and I am confident, that the entire population of Syunik is unanimous: the ‘Zangezur Corridor’ will not be created. Discussing this is simply pointless because developing this rhetoric should not be encouraged by our side,” said Ghukasyan.
“Of course, Azerbaijan will try to bring many other issues to the agenda, but we should not introduce them into our agenda,” he added.
