Earthquake in Armenia: Felt in Bavra, Ghazanchi, and Tavushut Villages
On July 4, at 12:04 PM local time (08:04 AM GMT), a magnitude 2.8 earthquake was recorded by the seismic network of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, with geographical coordinates of 41.09° North latitude and 43.94° East longitude, 12 km southeast of Bavra village in the Armenia-Georgia border zone.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral area was assessed at 3-4 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Ghazanchi, and Tavushut in Shirak Province, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
