Train Service from Georgia to Armenia Resumed
The train service operated by the Georgian Railway from Batumi to Yerevan, which was unable to reach its departure point due to a landslide yesterday, is set to arrive in Yerevan today at 3 PM. This information was confirmed to Sputnik Armenia by the railway central station.
The train from Yerevan to Batumi will depart according to schedule at local time 2 PM today.
It is worth noting that we previously reported that the Batumi-Yerevan train was stranded due to the landslide.
“It is unclear when regular service will be restored. Even if service resumes, it is currently inadvisable for passengers to make their journey due to safety concerns,” the message stated.
