Bodies of 2 Fallen Soldiers Transferred to Armenia: Artsakh Ombudsman
In response to media inquiries, I inform you that the bodies of two servicemen who were killed as a result of the Azerbaijani aggression on June 28, Evand Tadevosyan and Samvel Torosyan, were transferred today to Armenia by the International Committee of the Red Cross at the request of their parents for burial at Yerablur.
This information was provided by the Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan. He noted: “Azerbaijan continues its false claims that the deceased servicemen were representatives of the RA Armed Forces, preparing the ground for new attacks. The Artsakh Human Rights Defender’s office has already gathered the necessary facts and documents, which will be published soon, once again proving the falsity and fabrication of Azerbaijani claims.”
It is reminded that on June 28, starting from 01:30, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire on Armenian positions in Martuni and Martakert with artillery, also using drones. The Armenian side has four casualties.
