Photos: Accumulated Waste Caught Fire on Getapnyah-Kukasavan Highway

A fire broke out on the Getapnyah-Kukasavan highway. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. On July 2, at 13:16, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that smoke was visible at the end of Shirak 5th Street in Yerevan.

Emergency responders from the fire and rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene, including one firefighting unit and one water carrier. It was discovered that accumulated waste was burning near a gas station on the Getapnyah-Kukasavan highway.

The fire was contained at 14:01 and extinguished by 14:17. Approximately 12 cubic meters of waste was burned.
