Body of Man Discovered in One of Vanadzor's 'Three Lakes'
The body of a man has been discovered in one of the artificial lakes in Vanadzor, Lori Province, Armenia. This information was reported by the Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
The crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue service received a call at 12:47 PM regarding a body in the area. A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers retrieved the man's body from the artificial lake located adjacent to 1/1 Zvartnots Street. According to Shamshyan.com, an autopsy showed no signs of violence on the body during the external examination, and authorities are working to establish the identity of the drowning victim.
A criminal investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
