We Will Soon Use Drones: Aivinyan on Sidewalks and Green Areas Encroachment

“When there is a report to the hotline, we will soon use drones in such cases.” This was stated by Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Tigran Aivinyan during today’s council meeting, addressing the fight against the encroachment of sidewalks and green areas.

Aivinyan emphasized that their approach not only prevents new instances but also addresses old problems by removing illegal structures placed on sidewalks and in parks.

“The other question is that the city of Yerevan does not have monitoring resources to establish police patrols in every neighborhood to see what is happening. However, when there is a report to the hotline, we will soon use drones in such cases, but I believe that no such case in Yerevan will remain unanswered. We may reach a little late, but we will reach and we will demolish,” Aivinyan stated.
