Armenian Side is Currently Working Near the Margara Bridge
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and special representative for the Armenia-Turkey normalization process, Ruben Rubinyan, announced that the last agreement between Armenia and Turkey was to open the land border for citizens of third countries and holders of diplomatic passports at the beginning of the tourist season.
According to him, the Armenian side is currently working near the Margara Bridge to bring the necessary infrastructure at the checkpoint in order.
“We will finish very soon, and we hope that the Turkish side will also adhere to the agreement and that the arrangements will be implemented during this summer,” he stated.
Referring to the Armenian-Turkish negotiations, he noted that the process is not at a standstill, and he communicates with the Turkish special representative as necessary.
Regarding the new meeting of the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey, Rubinyan informed that there is no agreement yet.
