Video: Excessive Ambitions and Personal Interests Have Led to Betrayal, Says Putin

Vladimir Putin addressed the Russians, military personnel, and law enforcement agencies, stating, "Excessive ambitions and personal interests have led to betrayal. During the special operation, any disputes must be eliminated; the fate of our people is currently being determined," he said in his message.

According to the Russian president, the fighters of the 'Wagner' group are heroes whose names and glory have been betrayed by those who organized the rebellion. "Any rebellion poses a mortal danger. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have received the relevant instructions to neutralize the organizers of all this," Putin added.

He compared the ongoing events to those of 1917, recalling that revolts within the army led to Russia's defeat in World War I, territorial losses, and civil war.

"Decisive actions will be taken; they will be harsh. The authorities will not allow the division within Russia to recur; we will protect the people," Vladimir Putin stated.
