Russian President Vladimir Putin has addressed the nation regarding the situation related to the armed rebellion, referring to it as a "knife in the back" of the country and its people, and an act of treason.

He also noted that the country is facing betrayal. "Anti-terrorist measures have now been implemented in several regions; the military and state institutions have received orders," said Putin, adding that those involved in criminal activities should cease their participation.

"The authorities will not allow division to occur again in Russia; we will protect the people," the Russian president stated.

Earlier, it was reported that Vladimir Putin would soon issue a call regarding the situation in Russia. This was conveyed by the spokesman for the president, Dmitry Peskov, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
