VIDEO: Baku Told Us in 2019, 'Give Me What I Want, Otherwise I'll Get It Through War,' Says Pashinyan
The investigative commission studying the circumstances of the 44-day war is continuing its session that was interrupted on June 20. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is answering questions from MPs live on air. Opposition members are again absent from the meeting.
In his speech, the Prime Minister noted that there is a hypothesis linking the October 27, 1999 event to the negotiation process.
"In 2019, I referred to the negotiation process as a war convention. Why? Because the logic is the following: with peace negotiations, give me what I want, otherwise, I will get the same thing through war. This has been my perception, and my task has been to try to understand what factors can stop this convention. I admit, yes, I have not been able to stop this convention," said Pashinyan.
