Any Discussion Regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh Crisis is Important: Rubinyan at the PACE
During a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) held in Strasbourg, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation, Samad Seyidov, responded negatively to the decision to hold discussions on the Lachin issue, as reported by 1lurer.am.
"The discussion on this topic could more likely create a headache. For the first time in the history of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, we have come so close to peace that this intervention could have a negative impact. We believe it is not the right time to discuss such issues," Seyidov stated.
In response to the concerns raised by the head of the Azerbaijani delegation, Ruben Rubinyan, the head of the Armenian delegation at PACE, emphasized: "Regardless of the fact that Armenia and Azerbaijan are negotiating peace, any discussion related to humanitarian issues regarding the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh is important and cannot harm the negotiations."
