VIDEO: Artsakh's State System Fully Transitioned to Savings Mode Since Yesterday, States Minister

Artsakh's state system has fully transitioned to a savings mode since yesterday. This was announced by Artsakh’s Minister Gurgen Nersisyan, addressing the complete blockade of the Lachin corridor, which has resulted in the suspension of humanitarian cargo deliveries carried out by peacekeeping forces as well as the process of transferring patients to Armenia for medical assistance through the ICRC.

In such a situation, the Artsakh Government has imposed certain restrictions. “I urge economic operators to act responsibly in the sale of remaining goods in stores, organizing it based on an assessment of available opportunities and principles of equitable distribution. I am not presenting this to incite panic, especially since we have been patiently preparing for such situations recently; our agricultural enterprises can somewhat alleviate the created problems and ensure at least minimal self-sufficiency. However, in any case, we must be organized, balanced, and vigilant,” stated the Minister.

The Minister also informed that from this moment the provision of fuel to individuals has been suspended, and in the case of service vehicles, urged to stop or minimize fuel usage.
