Record Wedding in India: 2143 Brides and Grooms Tie the Knot Simultaneously
A massive wedding ceremony took place in Baran, Rajasthan, India, which has made it into the Guinness World Records.
The event saw 2143 brides and grooms tying the knot at the same time. The wedding was organized by a local charitable foundation aimed at helping the underprivileged.
Many participants had been unable to afford a wedding, making this mass marriage a great solution. In addition to marriage certificates, the newlyweds received gifts including food, jewelry, mattresses, bed linens, kitchenware, and household appliances like televisions, refrigerators, and stoves.
