Azerbaijani Forces Have Withdrawn from Certain Areas of Tegh Village: Syunik Governor

Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan has announced that there have been no border incidents reported in recent weeks. He made this statement during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly.

When journalists inquired whether there had been any gunfire or advances, Ghukasyan responded succinctly, saying, "There has been no incident that is unknown to the public."

The governor noted that engineering works are being carried out intermittently from both sides.

According to Robert Ghukasyan, Azerbaijani forces have retreated from certain areas in the Tegh community. However, the governor did not specify from which exact locations the Azerbaijani units had withdrawn or the exact distance of their withdrawal.

Addressing the issue of residents of Tegh village who have lost access to their agricultural lands, the governor stated, "The areas where the villagers cannot enter today will receive support for the unearned income for this year. I am confident that Azerbaijan needs to return to where it has advanced from. In some places, the Azerbaijanis have indeed retreated. But I cannot say specifically from which places and how many meters."
