Alen Simonyan: I Find It a Sin to Comment on Ishkhan Saghatelyan
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, commented on the opposition plans of Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), stating, "I find it a sin to comment on Ishkhan Saghatelyan, because I believe such a politician no longer exists in the political arena."
According to Simonyan, his colleagues are promoting Saghatelyan to exhaust him completely, saying, "He happily walks around with a proud expression on his face, metaphorically speaking, throwing himself into the abyss. Let him go and do whatever he wants, how many times now?"
Simonyan also mentioned that, according to his information, Robert Kocharyan is no longer in contact with them. The Speaker of the National Assembly asserted that during their discussions, they do not particularly talk about how they will respond to various actions.
"We see a stronghold in the people of Armenia. As long as the people understand and we can explain it, we are at ease. Let them do whatever they want. We have given them that freedom to speak. Let them do it. Happy summer to them," he added.
