VIDEO. What Kakhovka HPP Looks Like After the Catastrophe

A video showcasing the aftermath of the destruction of Ukraine's Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant has been released, captured from a bird's-eye view. The footage was recorded by employees of the Novokakhovka military-civilian administration. According to reports from kp.ru, little remains of the hydraulic structure, as most of the dam has submerged underwater.

“Only after the water completely recedes should we begin assessing the extent of the damage and evaluate the current situation. However, there is already enough reason to assume that the direct damage from the destruction of residential properties in the region will exceed 1.5 billion rubles,” stated Vladimir Saldo, the acting governor of the Kherson region.
