Video: Footage of Burning German Leopard 2 Tank Released

The Russian Ministry of Defense has showcased footage of the destruction of Ukrainian armored vehicles in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The video was published on the agency's Telegram channel.

The footage displays a column of Ukrainian armored vehicles, including German Leopard 2 tanks, one of which is seen emitting smoke from its turret as it burns. According to the published post, other Leopard 2 tanks are also immobilized.

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported that on the night of June 8, Ukrainian armed forces attempted to breach Russian defenses in the Zaporizhzhia region. Intelligence detected the enemy units in time, leading to a preemptive strike, the minister noted.
