Another Separate Proceedings in the Case of Ashot Pashinyan's Abduction
The Investigative Committee of Armenia is currently looking into a separate case regarding the incident involving a hit-and-run against Ashot Pashinyan, the son of the Prime Minister.
On the day of his abduction, Pashinyan jumped out of a car, after which a "Toyota Camry" attempted to run him over.
Commenting on that episode, Ashot Pashinyan stated, "I have already filed a complaint regarding that matter. This case has been separated from the larger case, which also includes that circumstance. Essentially, the preliminary investigation is ongoing, and this case (the charge against Gayane Hakobyan) has been disconnected from the proceedings as a separate case."
It is noteworthy that Gayane Hakobyan, who is accused of abducting Ashot Pashinyan, has been sentenced today to 4 years of conditional imprisonment and has been released.
