Accident on the Artik-New Life Highway: There are Injured
On June 8, at 16:05, the emergency management center of the Shirak regional rescue service received a report of a traffic accident on the Artik-Horom highway, with a gas leak noted.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a VAZ 2106 vehicle (driver: L. P., born in 1953) had exited the roadway on the first kilometer of the Artik-New Life highway and collided with trees.
The driver was hospitalized at Artik Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as moderately severe. Rescuers disconnected the vehicle from electricity and closed the gas cylinder valve.
