Fire Erupts After Car Collision, Injuries Reported
On June 3, at 22:07, the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue department received a call regarding a car burning near the "Vega" shop-showroom in Spitak, as reported by the National Emergency Situations Service.
A firefighting unit was dispatched from the regional rescue department to the scene. It was found that two vehicles, a "Mercedes-Benz" (driver A. H., born in 2001) and an "Opel" (driver S. U., born in 1995), collided on Suren Avetisyan Street near the "Vega" shop-showroom, resulting in a fire in the "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle.
Before the arrival of the firefighters, the fire was extinguished by local efforts. Part of the engine compartment was burned.
The drivers were hospitalized at the Spitak Medical Center, where doctors assessed A. H.’s condition as satisfactory and S. U.’s as moderate severity.
