Belgorod Governor Discusses the Situation in Shebekino
The number of shellings in Shebekino has significantly decreased compared to the previous day; however, the danger still remains. This information was shared by Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“We are currently clarifying how people were able to cross who suffered during the latest shelling. Although the number of shellings in Shebekino has notably decreased even compared to the previous day, there is still a threat,” he wrote on Telegram.
The governor added that the night was calm, and air defense forces were active in the skies over Belgorod.
“In Razumny, vehicles were damaged. The most severe consequences were in the village of Sobolevka in the Valuiki region. I have already reported that civilians have been injured and killed as a result of shelling from a multiple-launch rocket system,” the governor noted.
On Friday evening, Gladkov reported that two people were killed and six were injured as a result of shelling in the village of Sobolevka, Belgorod region.
On Thursday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces repelled three assaults from two Ukrainian motorized infantry battalions towards the city of Shebekino in Belgorod. In a video address published on Telegram, Belgorod’s Deputy Governor Konstantin Polezhaev stated that energy infrastructure objects and residential houses were damaged, resulting in considerable destruction.
