Kosovo Opposition Demands Resignation of Prime Minister
The unrecognized former Prime Minister of Kosovo and leader of the opposition party "Alliance for the Future of Kosovo," Ramush Haradinaj, has called for the resignation of the current government leader, Albin Kurti. According to the political figure, the situation in the unrecognized republic is developing in almost the worst possible way since 1999.
"I am extremely concerned about the situation in the country. Today is the worst since 1999. Kurti is directly responsible for this situation," Haradinaj stated. His comments were quoted by the Serbian publication Danas on Friday.
Haradinaj added that Prime Minister Kurti currently poses a "danger to Kosovo." "Therefore, he must leave," the politician is convinced.
"As the head of government, his continued tenure every day is harmful and dangerous for the country," he further noted.
