Peskov Comments on Kadyrov's Statement Regarding Martial Law in Russia
Russia's presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has commented on the words of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov about the necessity of imposing martial law in Russia.
The Kremlin spokesperson stated that no relevant decisions have been made.
"This is exclusively the prerogative of the highest federal authority, no decision has been made on this matter, and discussions are not being held on this issue," Peskov said.
Recall that yesterday, on May 30, Kadyrov stated that martial law should be declared in Russia to neutralize a "terrorist cell" created by Ukraine, which he believes is responsible for the drone attack on Moscow.
