In Vardenis, We Sleep in Shifts Because We Don't Know What Will Happen at Night: Tovmasyan

Security and democracy are experiencing serious clashes in the context of Armenia. This was stated today, May 31, during the Armenian Democracy Forum ongoing in Yerevan by MP and Chair of the Human Rights and Security Committee, Taguhi Tovmasyan.

“Few sitting in this room will understand what it means to live in border areas while striving for democracy. For instance, in Vardenis, we sleep in shifts at home, because we do not know what will happen at night. This is to help you understand what kind of lifestyle people live in a democratic Armenia, and I am there almost every weekend,” the MP noted.
