What is the meaning of violating Azerbaijan's interests: to flatter Armenia or Western countries? Such questions were raised by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu while commenting on the statements made by presidential candidate and leader of the opposition Republican People's Party Kemal Kilicdaroglu regarding Azerbaijan, Anadolu reported.

Cavusoglu reminded that Kilicdaroglu spoke about the implementation of projects without Azerbaijan's involvement.

“We are well aware of the motives of those forces that seek to isolate our brotherly Azerbaijan,” he said.

The Turkish minister emphasized the importance of the platform of Turkic states, which “provides strength and confidence to Turkic-speaking countries.” According to him, the Turkic states organization allows for the development of cooperation between countries in various directions, “from tourism to energy, from culture to space.”
