If Georgia Joins Sanctions Against Russia, the Economy Will Collapse: Georgian Prime Minister
According to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Georgia's potential alignment with Western demands for economic sanctions against Russia would harm the country's national interests. He made this statement while addressing the economic forum in Qatar.
“If Georgia joins the sanctions against Russia, the country's economy will collapse,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
Additionally, he noted that after the conflict in Georgia in 2008, Western countries maintained economic relations with Russia and did not impose sanctions.
