Bayramov Asks the UN to Help Return Two Violators from Armenia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has addressed UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, requesting assistance regarding the return of two Azerbaijani soldiers who illegally crossed the Armenian border, killed an Armenian citizen, and were subsequently detained. This has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
“The lawsuit initiated by Armenia against the captured Azerbaijani soldiers is a gross violation of international humanitarian law,” Bayramov stated in his letter to Guterres. It is worth noting that in April, two Azerbaijani soldiers infiltrated the Armenian border, one of whom is accused of murdering a 53-year-old guard.
