The Management Committee of State Inspections of the Republic of Artsakh reports that as a result of price control activities initiated in March, the following outcomes have been recorded by the committee:
- 92 administrative proceedings have been initiated,
- Currently, proceedings are underway against 26 economic operators,
- A total fine of 6,000,000 dram has been applied,
- The economic activities of one operator have been suspended,
- A second violation has been discovered at two operators, with notifications sent regarding the suspension of their economic activities.
It is also noted that in addition to inspections conducted in the regions during the previous period, inspections have recently taken place in the city of Martakert and several communities in the region, resulting in a total of 11 violations being documented and administrative proceedings initiated.
The report emphasizes that despite the government’s decision which mandates local administrations and community councils to carry out supervisory functions, the Management Committee of State Inspections, as a competent body for republican administrative proceedings, will continue to conduct inspections in the regions and will initiate administrative proceedings regarding all identified violations, making legally prescribed administrative decisions.
Moreover, recognizing the importance of public oversight mechanisms, citizens are encouraged to report any violations of the established price lists by calling 5099 or 047960124.
