British Minister of State Declares Discussion on Lachin Corridor Blockage in Baku
The United Kingdom desires universal peace in the South Caucasus as soon as possible. This was stated by Leo Docherty, the UK Minister of State for Europe, during a press conference.
"The UK's position regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not changed. We reiterate the positions of the EU and the USA in this regard. We are trying to strengthen cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom, and I am pleased to announce that a strategic dialogue has begun, which we hope will take place in the second half of this year. It will expand the scope of our cooperation, and we hope it will be positively perceived," emphasized Leo Docherty.
When asked whether he raised the issue of the blockage of the Lachin corridor during his visit to Baku, Docherty confirmed that he indeed brought the matter up in Baku.
