We Can Confirm That the Lachin Corridor Is Not Under Russian Control: Mirzoyan

The meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has commenced in Moscow. Welcoming Lavrov, Mirzoyan noted that this is yet another opportunity to discuss painful topics, particularly the situation in the South Caucasus.

“As always, Armenia is constructive; we strive for peace. Unfortunately, the real situation is different. We see the escalation from Azerbaijan and the installation of a checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor, which should have been under Russian control, but we can confirm that it is not under Russian control,” said Mirzoyan.

It should be noted that the negotiations between Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov began today in Moscow.
