Video: Four Cable Cabinets Set on Fire at Kazan Railway
Unknown individuals have set fire to four cable cabinets at the railway in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, Russia. This has been reported by the Telegram channel Shot.
It is noted that due to the incident, five freight trains have been delayed on their routes.
According to platform data, the burning equipment was discovered on the night of May 18, near the Derbishki station in the city's Soviet district. Station staff alerted the police, who arrived at the scene with two service dogs, but the arsonists could not be located. At the scene, a fire extinguisher and a ballpoint pen were found.
Currently, efforts are underway to search for the saboteurs. The search operations are complicated by the lack of surveillance in that section of the railway.
Recently, several incidents of sabotage have been recorded on railways in various cities across Russia.
