US Plans to Work with Turkey Regardless of Presidential Election Results, Sullivan
The United States will continue to work with Turkey regardless of which candidate wins in the second round of presidential elections. This was stated by Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor.
“Whoever wins the elections—be it the incumbent president or the candidate—we will continue to work with Turkey on a number of issues, whether it’s Ukraine, regional matters in the Middle East, or Turkey's role as a NATO ally of the U.S.,” Sullivan said.
