Zelensky Thanks All Defenders of the Sky in Video Address
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a speech at the opening session of the fourth summit of the Council of Europe, which began in Reykjavik, Iceland. He expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their support in the struggle and called for the establishment of a special tribunal for military criminals in Moscow.
"I want to thank all our defenders of the sky. All 18 missiles were intercepted. That is why we are constantly working on visits that will bring more opportunities, more ammunition, and defensive systems," Zelensky stated.
"Once again, I thank all our partners around the world who have assisted our country with relevant air defense systems. We also need to remember how much effort it takes to obtain such weapons. The time, energy, negotiations, meetings, and informational work allowed us to build such an air defense system. It’s a huge job,” Zelensky added.
