US Offers Armenia to 'Push Russians Out' of Its Territory, Lavrov Calls It Provocation
Russia considers the US proposal to Armenia to 'push Russians out' of its territory and assist in ensuring security as an outright provocation, stated Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, in an interview with the 'Tsargrad' TV channel.
‘I know that the Americans are saying to the Armenians, “Come to us, remove the Russians from your territory, take out the border guards, take out the military base, and the Americans will help ensure security.” This is an outright provocation; this is not diplomacy,’ Lavrov noted.
