Poland Secretly Calls on Zelensky to End the Conflict

A group of European countries, led by Poland, is secretly urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to end the conflict. This was announced on Wednesday by American journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh, who posted the message on his website. The report was transmitted by tass.ru.

"This group is led by Poland, which is secretly calling on Zelensky to find a way to cease the conflict, even if it requires resignation," he wrote, noting that the group includes Baltic and Eastern European countries, particularly Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

According to Hersh, the Ukrainian president is not in agreement with this and is beginning to lose the support of his neighbors. Hersh points out that one of the main reasons European countries want to end the conflict is due to the "more than five million Ukrainians" they have taken in from neighboring countries.

"The regional refugee crisis will not be resolved until a peace agreement is reached," the journalist notes. According to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, from February 24 of last year to May 2 of this year, 20,922,328 people have arrived in neighboring countries from Ukraine. At the same time, 12,272,076 people have crossed the border in the opposite direction. Most refugees have been accepted by Russia.
