US Does Not Plan to Transfer Longer-Range Missiles to Ukraine: White House

The U.S. has not changed its stance regarding the transfer of longer-range missile systems to Ukraine and does not plan to send them to Ukraine, despite Britain's decision to send Storm Shadow missiles to the Ukrainian military. This was stated by John Kirby, the National Security Council's coordinator for strategic communications at the White House, as reported by TASS.

“As for any other changes regarding longer-range missile systems, our policies and decisions on this issue have not changed,” Kirby said.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for providing Storm Shadow missiles to Kyiv. Zelensky also added that he discussed further military cooperation with the British Prime Minister and coordinated positions with him ahead of upcoming international events.

Previously, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace confirmed that London was sending Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine.
