«We Shouldn't Get Ahead of Ourselves»: Peskov on the Expected Meeting Between Pashinyan and Putin
Next week, discussions are underway regarding a possible meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, but it is still too early to speak about it. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“We shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves. Certain plans are being discussed. Once these discussions reach completion, we will make a corresponding announcement. For now, we consider it premature,” Peskov said to journalists in response to a question regarding whether negotiations are planned.
Earlier, Prime Minister Pashinyan indicated that he would be traveling to Moscow. He made this announcement during a discussion titled “Democracy in Armenia in a Restless Region: Security and Stability Needs,” held at the Atlantic Council in Prague.
