Lentsov Meets with Azerbaijani Minister of Defense
The new commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh, Colonel General Alexander Lentsov, met with the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, in Baku.
According to media reports, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces and the Azerbaijani official discussed the conditions for the operation of the peacekeeping forces in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
On April 28, General Lentsov was received by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, in Yerevan.
It should be noted that Colonel General Alexander Lentsov was appointed as the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in the Republic of Artsakh on April 26 of this year, replacing Major General Andrey Volkov. Prior to that, he served as an advisor to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
