Artsakh President Donates This Month's Salary to Government Extra-Budgetary Fund

Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan has issued a statement, saying: “Dear compatriots, for more than 4 months, Artsakh has been under blockade, resulting in serious social issues in the country. Thousands of citizens have been deprived of their sources of income.

Even though significant steps have been taken by the state within the limits of existing possibilities to address the acute social needs of the population, taking into account the necessity of applying additional material and moral efforts, I endorse and join the initiative of State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan. Therefore, I am donating this month's salary to the government's extra-budgetary account to provide additional assistance to our compatriots in need through the Ministry of Social Development and Migration of Artsakh.”
