PHOTOS. Bus Involved in Accident in Yerevan, Injuries Reported
On April 21, at 20:42, the National Crisis Management Center received reports that an accident had occurred at the intersection of Shiraz and Mazmanyan streets, with injuries reported. This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service.
Two fire-rescue teams from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yerevan were dispatched to the scene.
According to Shamshyan.com, a bus serving route number 67 collided with a Volkswagen Touareg, then continued moving forward, crashing into an iron electric pole and ending up in the area of a gas station.
As a result of the accident, the bus driver was hospitalized with bodily injuries. The bus was completely turned into metal debris due to the collision, and a tire from the collision ripped off, damaging a parked Mercedes vehicle.
